I modded my USA Anni Ed tonight and added the Rear fog.

Interesting thing.... there was a wiring harness sitting right next to the dummy rear light.

Not sure what it does as I had already cut my new lights wiring harness for the relay I installed.

Oh Well!!!

It runs up to the front of the car, I believe to the CAN-BUS system, but isn't actually tied in properly for operation.

I believe it runs to the steering column and is part of the switch stalk harness plate. It dead ends there with the US stalk but for the asian and euro (and I assume canadian) assemblies as well it contacts the fog switch on the headlight stalk. You can get a right hand drive stalk from some us parts dealers with the fog switch present but I have not yet found the left hand drive stalk used in most euro countries and canada.

I was going to run some tests to see if I could turn power on to the fog by sending the appropriate logic signal to the ECU but I never got around to it. It would make wiring a fog a lot easier.

I would do this if they had the lefthand stalk.

Never seen a car with backup fog lights ,seem strange to me. Maybe its cause i live in Las Vegas. No need for them.

The rear fog light is actually for driving its more like a light to better identify your location for other drivers behind you (in foggy conditions) there's talk in some threads how our tail lights have limited visibility for other drivers, so I turn my rear fog light on all the time after dusk........but for backing up it only helps with slightly
