I always thought the VIN # was in chronological order of the car being manufactured at that plant. So say that no other model except the north American 40th anniversary

I always thought the VIN # was in chronological order of the car being manufactured at that plant. So say that no other model except the north American 40th anniversary car was being built at the Toguchi plant in Japan between mine and Dropped1's car. Then my production model # would be 10 since our VIN number is only 94 apart. However, if they built Euro 40ths in between me and dropped1 then my production number would be closer to Dropped1.
