Regarding the Vin # / build number... I called Nissan Northeast and was on the phone with them for a 1/2 hour trying to find out the build number to my car within days of the purchase. No Joy... This is a huge faux paux on Nissan's part... Not having a cross reference between vin # and build number. I think we should complain in mass to NISSAN Customer Relations until we get the answer. DP

I agree. I emailed them asking if there really were 1000 made for North America and also asked for a VIN specific production number. The replied the next day and told me yes there were only 1000 made and that they would get back with me on the other question. I submitted another email a week ago asking the second question again and I haven't heard back from them.
