370Z 40th worth
I have a 2010 370Z 40th Anniversary that I have been thinking about selling it.
I went to a CarMax dealership to get an apprisal. They looked the Z over for abput 45 minutes and could not find any discrepancies. My Z has 20,320 miles on it, has no damage anywhere, is competely stock, has the original car cover, gym bag and 40th Anniversary Plate. They apprise it at $15,000. I felt that they must have thought that I was a fool and that I would accept their offer. I have seen numerous 350Z and 370Z in terrible condition being tagged at a much higher price. I'm not trying to make a killing on my 370Z , just a fair offer/sell. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I know that if I do part with it I will have sellers remorse. |
Carmax is NOT going to give you anything but wholesale on a car, no matter how much fluff advertising they run.
From the investigating that I've done, a clean trade-in value would be somewhere in the 17s and clean retail around 20k. I wish I was in the market because I'd probably pounce. I LOVE the 40th, but lack of patience had me buying in '09. Good luck. |
THANKS for your response. I knew what to expect from CarMax, but their attitude was that of doing me a favor. I told them that I did not need to sell my 370Z and that it was part of our family. I will sell the car to anyone that appreciates the 370Z and at a fair price (no scalping). I don't wand any or myself the have buyers remorse or me having sellers remorse.
Thanks again Troy (509-939-8852) |
