Na build
Car is currently being developed and dyno'd as we speak.
Current modifications are: STILLEN GEN3 CAI HKS HI-POWER DUAL CAT EXHAUST KINETICS HI-FLOW CAT CONVERTERS Z1 34 ROW OIL COOLER Z1 CLUTCH & FLY WHEEL Z1 CSC ELIMINATION KIT Z1 TRANSMISSION MOUNTS OSIRIS FLASH TUNE Will provide dyno results with above setup when complete. Upgrade modifications in progress: Z1 DIFF COVER DIFF BUSHING SET 3.9 DRIVE GEAR 263 EHAUST CAMS 70MM THROTTLE BODIES Z1 HEADERS Z1 INTAKE PLENUM Z1 PORTED LOWER MANIFOLD OSIRIS DYNO TUNE Will provide dyne results with above setup when complete What I'm looking for out of my Z is something of a "cruise missile." Has the sound and feel of a versatile high performance weekender but, keep its sexxi and romantic appeal. The best of both worlds, Clean but plays Dirty. The platform is well rounded already but, I wanted something unique. Build on its great qualities and strengthen its weaknesses. Will keep you posted!! |

I am well aware. It has seemed as if he has had very few if any reliability issues with the TT up to this point and just wondering why he wouldn't take that trackside, that's all. I'm sure having Fast Intentions in your back yard hasn't hurt him either.

Don't want to hi-jack this thread but just wanted to chime in. I have had zero reliability issues pertaining to the turbo kit itself but hard street driving and track driving are very different things and a lot of additional supporting mods would be needed (cooling mainly) to make it work especially in California if I want to track during the summer. I would much rather spend that money on aero, a cage, etc for a full on track car. I guess I cant say I would never boost it, but it would be way down on my priority list.

How are the RpM's in 6th? Using my factory final drive I throw it in 6th to bring down the RPM's and silence the exhaust. Im assuming with a 4.08 that window to drop RPMs while maintaining same speed and silence the exhaust is ALOT smaller.
Ultimately, I just wanna chillax and cruise in 6th w/o too much exhaust note. But if needed to, I can call on torque and power and blast. |
