SOME of the guys there are sensible. But, you can obviously tell the difference is the hard core fans. The hard core Camaro fans obviously are interested in straight line/stop light to stop light racing. They admit that the Z will probally best the Maro in the curves.

The only problem I see is that there will be more than a few Maro/muscle car owners
street racing. That scares me as this could cause many accidents.

I for one think the Maro is a VERY cool car; the Z28, if made will be outstanding!! But, I do not need four seats for my fun car, and I just like the Z's handling ability and true sport car'ness more than the muscle car. It is quite clear that while the Z is not a light car like the Audi TT RS, Cayman, any RX car, it is lighter than the muscle car competition. And, it has a nice torque band as the American cars do (just not as much torque; enough to keep you from spining the wheels and burning rubber). Lastly, it is not as expensive as the Audi, BMW, Porsche competion. The Z is, IMO, the perfect compromise and right up my alley.

If I see Camaro owners or even new Stang/Challenger owners on the road... I will give them a thumbs up. If they are acting like imature street racers, I will ignore them. EVERY car has it's positives and drawbacks. We all will choose the postives we want, and the drawbacks we can live with. That said... Make mine a Z!!
