Go with the Z1; no issues here.

While you're at it, grab the heater hoses as well—they're on sale for Black Friday. The Coolant Bleeder Port - Heater Hose is also on sale.

Anyway, yes, you’re going to need to bleed it, just like you would for any other bleeding process on the Z. For example, if you were changing the radiator, doing a flush, or replacing the hoses, bleeding would be necessary.

Don’t worry about the size—Z1 sells parts that fit the Z perfectly.

It’s a tight spot, though, so I recommend using a tool like this one.

It’s also great for taking out the booster hoses and replacing them with the Z1 ones or any hoses in hard-to-reach areas.
