I bought Hawk HP+ for Wilwood caliper (7416 plate).Since Hawk customer service disregarded my inquiry I am going to spill it here.
1) Pad area is smaller compared to Wilwood pad-it will eat groves into rotor. Rotor rings are $300 USD each BTW and will make swapping pads difficult. At this point I don't care much as rotors are nearing the end of their life
2) Backing plate is like 4mm longer! I had to grind it to fit onto caliper.
3) Pad plates are painted. Paint burned off and is peeling. I believe there're other ways to protect metal from elements.
4) Performance is-hmm...good bite and then it disappears. They work only for quick jabs, so word "track" should not even be mentioned in the description. I used Wildwood BP-20 and even BP-10 with more confidence on the same track (100mph-60mph braking) and they are rated for less friction coefficient than HP+. Hawk sales advisor actually ripped on BP-20 on another occasion
Are those pads made in one of the Middle East sweatshops by kids in flip flops (there're youtube videos)? (Do not need to answer

)
