I did try that. Ended up putting the OEM tank back on. The aftermarket one was not designed correctly in that the baffle in it is too porous so too much fluid was allowed by it and would be forced out the cap. It also was not vented.
Took quite a few turns back and forth to get it bled once I put the OEM one back on.
