Well, I know it has been 5 years. Any update on the fender liner modification DIY?
In case OP has moved on, anyone else have any suggestions on how to open the fender liner to make this vent functional while still having some sort of protection?
My initial thought is to coat behind the fender with truck bed liner or cut sections out of the factory liner and replace with wire mesh.
