For the bare minimum installation, you will need a custom fuel feed line and a crossover hose, and fittings for the rails. Then there are more complicated ways to plumb them that would require additional hoses.

If you are not building an entire return fuel system, dont waste your money on fuel rails, there is zero benefit. Even in the scenario of return fuel systems, the only reason we even have to change the rails on the VQ is so that we can get superior plumbing connected to them. The stock rails themselves have no issues other than the permanently attached inlet pipe and blocked off ends.

Stock rails will perform well enough for any naturally aspirated VQ.
