IMO, the 2 most important aspects of losing weight is diet and your will to lose weight (i.e. don't give up) and more important than working out itself.
My old trainer used to tell me to think sweating as fat crying, so if you're not sweating enough during a workout, you ain't trying.
Be and stay strong and stay frosty, but most importantly, stay hydrated with water
