Default If U park outside take off UR Engine Cover!

Just a warning to those who have to park their 370s outside at night and you live in an area where pack rats or other gnawing small rodents live, you should take your engine cover off. Found out the hard way the the cover over the intake makes for an inviting cozy and dark home for pack rats, which are like vampires, they want dark place to sleep during the day. Taking the cover off let's in more light to the area around the injectors. If a rat crawls in there and an injector wire is in the way, it'll chew it out of the way. This is what happened to me and it was not a cheap fix at the dealership. I also prop the hood open about 10 in. (2 in is not enough, found out that the hard way too). I made a prop tool out of plywood about 10in high that hooks on to the hood latch and radiator top frame that keeps the hood restrained and won't fly up with wind gusts. I am planning on adding a cheap solar lawn light to it to illuminate the engine compartment at night. Yes I have a cage trap at various places around my property to catch the little buggers (I get about 5-10 a month)
