Each and every time the Feds have tried to fight inflation, a recession ALWAYS followed. With Powell admittedly "not understanding inflation", highly doubt we will avoid a recession.
On a side note, a lot of people think back to the late 2000s when they hear "recession". The next expected upcoming recession shouldn't be to the likes of then (different market/circumstances).
