Unless you're going to the country/trees/sticks/stones parts of FL, you aren't going to come across too much wildlife. Deers and garden snakes can be a common site. I've never seen bears/bobcats/etc. roaming about.
I hear pythons can be an issue in south FL with people buying them as pets and release them once they get too big. In fact, there is an annual contest each year for biggest python captured:
