There is a saying, "The person you will be in 5 years is based on the books you read and the people you hang around with."
IMO, the same principle applies to your finances. The financial decision and action you make today will determine and affect your financial situation 5 years from now.
Layoffs are unfortunately happening right now, and I'm really worried about the long-term effects of these layoffs. Layoffs have the strong possibility of killing industries permanently, esp. with AI coming into the picture, amongst other new technology.
