"The banking crisis will tilt US into recession, say Fed economists."
"'The main takeaway from Wednesday’s Federal Reserve minutes is that the central bank anticipates a mild recession in late 2023 and that the soft landing window seems to be closing quickly,' said Nancy Davis, founder of Quadratic Capital Management, in a note Wednesday."
No motherf*ckers, the US is headed for a recession way before the banking crisis and when the Feds started the battle against inflation and aggressively raising rates. The excessive raising of rates is what may have led to the banking crisis (intentional or unintentional) as collateral damage. Keep in mind, historically, that a recession has ALWAYS followed when the Feds have tried to fight inflation.
Nancy, you are a dumb@$$. The "soft landing" mark was missed a few times over a long time ago. At this rate, it appears there will be a hard crash.
People, don't believe 100% of the media, as:
1. They have not the slightest clue on what's going on. They will take bits and pieces of "expert" opinions and take it out of proportion. In other words, they will twist the words to make it appear a different message than what was really intended.
2. They focus only on the bad - bad news sells.
