It’s ironic that the younger generations complain so much about bullying and “micro aggressions” and as these things have gotten worse, society at the same time has gotten softer and doesn’t allow physical violence.
There are times when violence is the correct answer, but since our society tells folks violence is never the answer, younger people don’t know how to cope and when violence does happen, it always will we are violent by nature, it comes out in incorrect ways like mass shootings.
Young men especially need to fight to get out that aggression and competitive nature that is inside everyone. If you’re getting bullied at school, try to walk away, use your words to give sh1t back to your bully. If all that fails, beat the sh1t outta him, or at least try and go down swinging. It builds resilience and character.
If I went to my dad growing up and complained about being bullied, he would have beat my a$$ and told me to man up and stand up for myself. There’s not enough of that nowadays.
Back in HS, kids used to get in knock down drag out real fights where someone might get knocked out or loose teeth, broken nose etc, the teachers and administrators didn’t care, they knew teenagers needed to get that sh1t out that way or it bottles up and then you get columbine. They’d only intervene if it was about to go to far and someone might end up in the hospital. But I can’t remember it ever getting that bad bc folks knew when they won, or lost as the case may be. No suspension or police, maybe detention if they were caught.
Now, if you beat the sh1t out of your bully, you get in as much or more trouble than the bully.
Now, when these people become adults and get firearms, why are we surprised there so many shootings, folks haven’t learned resilience life skills, non lethal violent conflict resolution and like I said, humans are naturally violent predators so if our pack (society) doesn’t teach the young correct outlets for rage etc, we can’t be surprised when everyone is shooting everyone over dumb sh1t. It’s a sign of weakness, both personally and as a reflection of our emasculated society.
A man resolves conflict directly, women tend to brood and stew and then get revenge in subtle ways over time and surprisingly.
When a man stews about a perceived affront and then goes on a surprise spree killing, he is a coward and acting in a femine way to resolve his problem. BUT, since he’s still a man, he acts violently.
