Starting with the Millennials is when the internet age started. I'm part of the earlier of the Millennials gen, and growing up, cell phones, internet, and social media wasn't available until way later (I was a sophomore in college when TheFaceBook initially came out). At that time, society wasn't so sensitive about everything either and if we f*cked up or acted out as kids, we got beaten with a belt and whatever object was close by. We also enjoyed playing outside. We also had to work for and earn things, much like the earlier generations.
Look at society now. You so much as look at your kid the wrong way and DCF gets involved. Parents can't discipline their children as needed and/or appropriately and kids feel like the king of the world with their arrogance and entitlement. Growing up with this mentality and reproducing with the same, if not worse, mentality is making for one F*CKED up society now.
