To me it seems that it is some mix of the owner/tuner's fault. It really depends on who pushed who to go to the higher power levels when it was obvious it couldn't.
Admin's video almost only focuses on blaming the copper gasket but the reasoning is half truths and skips over many issues. They show how the forged and heat treated piston head shows no heat damage completely skipping over the pitted oem valves.

Anyway I was most shocked by Admin's IAT timing adjustment, or lack thereof. There is no timing change from intake temp from -20C (-4F) to 70C (158F). That just seems so lazy or careless.
