Are you sure it’s the hose end that’s leaking and not that the banjo fitting to the thermostatic plate is loose? I’d check that first. If it is indeed the fitting….
No need to replace the whole oil cooler kit. It’s just the hose end that is leaking. You can replace the hose itself. Call mishimoto and they’ll probably sell you just that hose, or u can make a new hose yourself if you know what length and what size fittings it has.
OR, depending on if there is enough extra length built in to the hose, you could take the leaking hose off, remove the fitting, cut an inch of hose to have a newly cut section, and then stick a new fitting on it. problem fixed for $10 (cost of a new fitting).
