I've been getting alot of questions about the current real estate market and lending, including PM's from members of this site.
PSA: If you are on the fence about buying a home or debating between buying and renting, just remember it's always a good time to invest in real estate, as long as you have the means and ability to buy.
When buying a home, you are investing in something that appreciates in value and builds your wealth. You are taking money in your account and basically transferring it into another form of an investment account.
When renting, you are paying 100% interest that you can't write off and paying for someone else's mortgage. Contrary to popular belief, generally it is NOT cheaper to rent.
Rates have gone up, but there are both short- and long-term solutions/strategies to this.
