Default Solving the Ebay dilemma with Resin?

Hello Exterior & Interior subforum

I managed to sell my Nismo Body kit in its entirety! The S-Tune converted nismo is finally coming around!

Sadly after looking at how much the S-tune side skirts go for, I think I might have to choose a cheaper alternative. I managed to find a set of "N-1" sideskirts, which appear to be FRP copies of the S-tune kit. Contrary to Fly1 or Shine sideskirts where the body line goes straight through the wheel well.

I know ebay parts have a reputation for warping and incorrect fitment. I have a good amount of expierience shaping and layering resin/epoxy with surfboards. Could it be possible to layer some resin on the interior of the sideskirts after cutting and fitting (or fitting then cutting )?

My theory is it could resist the awful warping and help improve rigidity.

P.S. here are the pics if the fly1/shine compared to the N-1 body kit. I included the oem+ s-tune sideskirts as a control group as well!
