I came from a 2006 G35 coupe. It was a great car and I actually had less repairs done to it than my Z. The Z is definitely faster and more agile in the turns. I knew going into the Z that I would be losing back seats and a trunk so that is something to consider which I definitely miss.

Also, the Z is not as refined interior wise as the G. So if that's something that is of concern for you that is something to think about. Overall my Z has been very reliable and it is easy to work on even though I'm a professional technician of 9 years with plenty of tools.
