There are some hoses that run coolant through the throttle bodies. The purpose behind these hoses are to keep the butterfly valves from freezing in cold weather. But in hot weather and hard driving, that coolant is hot and heating up the throttle bodies thereby increasing IATs. I removed mine years ago since TX heat.
Nissan 370Z: Eliminating hot coolant heater hoses on both throttle bodies

Not sure what he means by heater adapter. I did have to replace a plastic coupling in one of the heater hoses. Got a metal one to replace it.
