Four months later, back at the Texas auction. In May, it ended up at CarMax. Although it is not reflected in the CarFax, I know it was repossessed April 2022. I also know the front and back bumpers have been painted and not really rubbed out well. (Sigh). Probably way more than anyone on this forum cares to know. I guess I just needed to spill my guts. If my wife knew any of this I would never hear the end of it.
Have you decided if you are going to keep it. Honestly a repo car might have me concerned some but....if it seems clean and passes the mechanical inspection - I would probably look to keep it. The one thing - is since car prices are way over valued at the moment and the new Z is coming out next year - you might be able to find cheaper options in about 6mo if you do decide to return it to CarMax.
