Update on the car: We think changing out the battery for a fresh one, driving around in very hot weather, and going back to the OEM bumper (ductless) probably both contributed to a richer fuel mixture on the tune. Right now we're working on fixing that. I'm really considering finding a place to rent dyno time to get the car dialed in.
I still plan on getting my injectors manually wired in. I just need to find time to drop it by the shop.
