After reading through the forums, I figured that OS GIKEN is the LSD I want to install in my car. I have a fully loaded 370z which comes with the VLSD from factory. From what I gather online, if I want this OS Giken installed, I need to buy the shorter halfshaft flange as well - namely part number: 38220-JK01B
Is there anything else I need? I read about some washers etc - these I figure are good to change, although I have 15k miles on my car.
Anything else? Is the shaft change plug'n'play? I was thinking of doing the change myself, as it seems that I "only" need to change the final drive gear to the LSD, and reinstall everything back. Am I missing something? I'm more of a weekend mechanic so any tips and/or advice are greatly appreciated.

Probably should swap the side bearings and stub seals while you’re in there. And you’ll want to have to tools to check backlash and preload. Also, I’ve heard it’s best to have a couple different sizes of the shims ready to go so you can do the swap quickly without waiting for different sizes to be delivered.
I guess if you could verify that the OSG diff (including side bearings) was the exact same width as the VLSD diff (including side bearings) that you’re removing, it would be simply remove and replace and use the shims that came in your diff. Probably not that easy though… I’d still check preload/backlash.
