It's not like the screw grommets and the front plate bracket are not factory original parts and the holes were drilled exactly as prescribed by the factory. At this stage, it's not any different from the holes that are drilled at the factory in the rear hatch for the factory spoiler as they both serve a purpose for a factory original part. But then if you take sandpaper and other auto body repair type processes to the bumper (or rear hatch), ya not original anymore.
Anyways, it turned out even better than I thought it would. Since the holes are already in my bumper, I may as well make the best of it and I actually prefer this look now. The front end is probably now even more eye catching than a naked bumper. You can't see it in the photo, but the embossed Z is raw stainless steel which I assume would look really good in the sunlight in the summer.
Like I said, looks very Z Proto, and with all the hype of the new Nissan Z, it doesn't hurt for the front of my Z to literally have the Z logo just like the Proto along with the new Nissan font type that you see on the new Z.
