I had high hopes for this. I found an adapter that will mate to any keyed navigation connection (apparently there are many). I tried the adapter and got no GPS connection. I tried several places and drove around for a bit, but nothing.

I then connect a cheap GPS antenna with SMA and got instant connection. So it would seem that the factory GPS antenna is not compatible with my Joying head unit. Perhaps other systems are compatible?

Bummer!
