Default Disadvantages to a squared tire set-up on a daily driver?

There are new tires on the horizon for me. I have the staggered Sport Rays. Running a 275 width tire at all four corners will only cost me $15 more than going with the OE 245F/275R combination.

This is a street car that will normally only see the occasional weekend cruise and canyon run. In some cases, it will find itself as a daily driver when the need comes up. There are a few upgrades to consider: The front will have adjustable FUCA's and a stiffer front bar. Although I know it can be done, I am doubtful that I'm going to spend the time or money to have these tires unmounted and rotated, so that advantage is not in play here.

It's not a matter of whether it can be done, but SHOULD it be done on a street car? Some say bigger is not always better . Does this upgrade fall into that category?
