I feel for you and sincerely hope your issues get fixed. But, you can’t blame the car in this case. Rodent damage is usually major and can sometimes be worse than flood damage.

I would take my time and go over every single piece of wiring harness especially the hidden ones. This will probably involve a lot of disassembly but it is the only way to track down any damage and ensure your problems are fixed for good.
