Youre not really dropping the redline …you will be maxing out the supercharger at around 7k …and slightly over spinning it to 7.5k …using a smaller pulley will help get more boost in the usable rpm for example if the 88mm is at 9 psi at 7k rpm the 84mm would be 11psi at 7k you could push to redline and and the 88mm would get 10.5 ish and just max out the supercharger where as the 84mm pushed to redline would be 12.5 and over spin the supercharger a little bit ..but in reality are you driving at redline ? I rather have more boost lower in the rpm range and if you push it to redline the little over spin isn’t a big deal… those numbers are a rough guess and can vary …but 2psi was about the difference with mine using the 2 different pulleys with the gtm stage 2 kit ….I know there was a flow restriction in the stage 1 that maxed out at 8-9 psi no matter the pulley size
