This thing is less than a 370 in every way except HP and an available 9 spat.

Looks wise its 3 steps backwards from a 370. Its almost ugly to me. The design goal was obviously a 5 car mix up but it fails. It looks like a 370Z with a new bottom, and not a good one. The black roof thing is a cover up to hide the 370 same top. It's trying to take the old 370 and make it Jag and Aston Martin, but completely fails. Or at least 90% fail.

I'm glad Nissan tried. But they need to get their stuff in order. This effort is embarrassing to me. I predict this car will be a big huge sales flop.

Nissan needs a new design and project management team. Their recent offerings suck.

I don't think it's ugly at all....but seeing that video of the silver one driving...kind of confirms to me....it's boring. Worse than I thought.

That rear end is totally nondescript....the aggressive haunch look is gone....just very bland.... if it weren't Nissan I wouldn't even be giving it a look....the front is more striking, but not really in a good way...that geometric fold on the bumper is what stands out to me.... and.... it's not so good and doesn't match the gentle sleek curves of the rest of it. The headlights are blah....

Sleeker perhaps - and I generally like sleek - but far less aggressive. Chances are if you take a 370 and a Z on the street (keeping in mind the average person has no idea what they're looking at) in brand new condition, it's the 370z that's going to get the "wows" and comments - even though the design is 10 years old. I hear it every week here.

Of course anyone in the know will want to see the new star! In the end, it really is very similar so I'm sure over time it will grow on me....and I'm interested in the bump in HP, but overall it's not my thing. I thought I'd be liking it more and more, but I'm going the other way right now.

I'm not one for aftermarket over-the-top panels....but I don't know anyone who looks at the stock 370z and says: this is nice, if only it weren't so aggressive!
