This is my third pair of calipers. They are relatively new (only 4 track days <1500 miles on them). The dust boots on the previous two pairs melt super fast and cause piston fail to retract and uneven pads wear. The red calipers do change color a bit after hard track day, but the original black ones holds much better.
After using the titanium brake shims, the temperature on the caliper significantly reduced. But shims doesn't help to prevent cracking or warping rotors.
