My last event at Atlanta Motorsport Park, was my best. Not time was, but driving was. A little history, at my last track day I had cored a tire and the rear tires are now dead. So I have a set of 18's stagger I was using as winter tires. I put them on and said I would take it easy.
So I worked on the tire pressures and hit the right combination of pressure, Worked on understanding the grip on the first run, and looking ahead. In last session I turned a 1.44.34, which was only 6 tenths slower then on summer.
But that lap was the best I have done, seem to hit all the marks and in the end it felt so good.
That's why I have many thanks for many people, from my son getting me into sims, my sims coach and all the folks on the forum that take the time to provide there insight and advice.
THANKS
