It all comes down to psi and intake temps. If your custom setup has a decent intercooler then you have taken care of the later. Now you just need to get your PSI to 14 and then you will make the numbers you want to achieve. Make sure you have the Si impeller and eliminate belt slip. Your filter or lack there of will play a big role in this.
Obviously your fuel setup should be adequate to push those numbers. A RFS would help you out too as anything past 13 or so should have one.
