It basically limited throttle input. Like 30% throttle once I hit about 2500 RPMs in any gear. So it wasn't debilitating, but it was very odd. Thankfully I was just cruising on the highway on the way to work. It was fine going home. Logged several more drives but never encountered the issue again.
