I'm lucky that what I do is still domestic, considering what payment looks like for persons in say Thailand or Malaysia. Outsourcing is its own monumental problem.

The great challenge of this 21st century is going to be figuring out how we all can live and thrive with increasing automation. Even China has this problem bc labor costs there have increased to the point where some companies are outsourcing from them to cheaper labor locations or automating.
