It is not necessarily true that more diverse societies have a better chance of long-term survival. Only monarchies, oligarchies, et al, have lasted for more than a few hundreds of years. Even those have eventually crumbled. But maybe a diverse, egalitarian society could do well.

Our greatest tension but also our greatest strength is our diversity, bc that doesn’t just mean how people look etc, it means diversity of ways of thinking/tackling problems, not being stuck with a monolithic culture that cant evolve, and it creates a dynamism and energy that can be felt. And our economy benefits.
It’s why even today, this is the place folks from repressive countries want to come to.
Our founding fathers considered us to be the greatest experiment in human history, a country founded on principles and ideals vs just a plot of ground some similar looking folks happened have been living on for a while.
