Well to keep cost down and nissan can't afford to build a whole new Z.

Hell if Toyota can't build a new supra without partnering up with BMW, no way in hell nissan have a chance. Basically its a body kit and I'm sure Toyota made their own performance mods to the BMW engine.
At least nissan is using most of their own recycled parts sort of speak for the most part. But other than the 3.0 tt engine and hopefully the auto trans will be good.
But the question is, has nissan improved on the 370z chassis for the updated Z?
