"Production advised the clearances might have tight which caused the wheel to rub and caused the failure. All damaged parts have been replaced or repaired and it is ready to ship. Please contact shipping to proceed."
So there ya go folks! Tight clearance. In a turbocharger. Who woulda thought?

So a heads up with anyone who sends their turbo for repair. They have to destroy parts to tear it apart to fix it. From looking at Madwi's turbo. Looks like the bearings are heated up and then dropped on the shaft, as it's an interference fit between the bearing ID and the shaft OD. Once that is done. There is no moving it to make an adjustment.
