Oh, I dont doubt that it can handle 500 HP FI - but theres a difference between a steady increase in power from turbo's spooling and whatnot, versus slamming an extra 150 horsepower down the motor's throat all of a sudden - its not hard to cause some nasty damage due to the shock effect . Staged 75-150 would probably be perfectly safe, though.
