Glad you found it. I had the same problem within the last couple of years, even replaced the fuel pump motor only and it still happened. When I finally replaced the entire module is when the issue was resolved. I chalk it up to a malfunctioning fuel pressure regulator which is built into the module.
Hopefully you did a billet fuel hat at the same time.
