So this was my issue, for the most part for some folks it takes 5-8 minutes. Mines took almost 15 minutes to register which finally did

The engine is not in a car btw folks. It's on a stand running G37 wiring communicating with Z ecu and gauges. Since I barely have a loads on this it does take a loooong time for oil temps to register in the tripple meter while is inside a garage.
