But you were like the coolest dude alive for those 2 days. I think it's just an interesting thing just to see some semblance to owning it — like getting out of it when you park and then realize you're the one holding the key and coming back to it. If you try to wrap your head around that, it's kinda like...whoa. If something like, a PA announcer in Target was like "customer with the Ferrari, your headlights are on", you'd be like "hey, that's me!"
Congrats on the wedding. Glad you got to play with the 488 to go with it.

Thanks! I can agree with all of that. The afternoon of the return, I went to the gym first, and had my keys on the ground, like I normally would, during a set of whatever. I had multiple people look at me and then back at the keys like "noooo, thats not a ferrari key fob". It was pretty funny, especially with the people I actually know in there. The feeling of knowing Im walking back out to it was also very cool. The enthusiast in me was very happy since it had a capristo exhaust setup. So at least I wasn't driving a fully stock 488...as dumb as that may sound. You know how the meme goes "see a $500k super car, doesnt look twice. See a modded out civic, you cant stop looking". Its a little like that. Nothing special about driving it stock.
I will say though, next year, if I actually get serious with pulling the trigger on a Gen 2 R8, I will rent one for 3-4 days. Ill want to see if I get over wanting one or it just makes me want it worse.
As of right now, I havent gotten my fill of that car...Im having some withdraws
