Fishing trip yesterday was not very fruitful but still had a blast. It was our 5th consecutive year with JT Van Zandt as our guide. The weather was terrible - cloudy with no rain and 25+ mph winds all day long. Trying to cast a fly accurately at 40 feet into 30 mph wind is about as productive as pissing into the same wind
The redfish population is also down significantly due to the recent freeze; the true extent of the impact is still unknown. So our opportunities were pretty limited and we ended up landing just one fish on the boat. All in all it was still a great day
