Really?? The same oil for the differential and manual transmission?

I have never seen one oil used for both. The friction requirements are very different between a differential (slippery as possible aka GL5) and a manual transmission (just enough friction so the syncros work properly aka GL4)

For me, I only use the Nissan MTL in the transmission and any synthetic 75W90 in the diff.

If your gear shifting starts to feel "crunchy" please get that stuff out asap to prevent syncro teeth damage.
