I LOVE the WOT sound. My first thought was... how do I get rid of this damn drone. My old man is a vette guy, has a c7 and c6. They have butterfly/active baffled exhausts. I could fab up something similar... although, i'm going FI TT, so i guess it's just a waste of time.

Anyone try to calm the drone on the short tails?
I added a bunch of additional sound deadening material (dynamat-type stuff) in the rear spare tire well area, as well as underneath the plastic trim on the hatch, and even some on the exterior above where the short tails sit on that flat part of that trunk bottom. (Underneath the little aluminum shield piece if you still have it.) It has helped significantly with keeping things quiet in the cabin. Although for my setup the drone is more in the 3k-3,200rpm area and is only momentary/transient so it's not too bothersome, but the extra sound insulation definitely helps. YMMV.
