Sounds like the transmission fluid level is not correct.

To set fill level by-the-book (FSM) requires Nissan's CONSULT equipment, the knowledge to use it, and the willingness to do the job properly. In my experience, most dealerships are lacking when it comes to the last two items.


Edit: A ticking noise can be caused by a rear wheel bearing not being set right. Might not be your problem but something to be aware of.
